Keppel Corp. Ltd. (BN4.SG) said Thursday its fourth-quarter net profit rose 11% from a year earlier mainly due to a stronger contribution from its property business and flagged a positive outlook for the current year.
The conglomerate, 21% owned by Singapore state investment firm Temasek Holdings Pte. Ltd., posted a net profit of S$389 million, compared with a restated S$352 million a year earlier. The average estimate in a Dow Jones Newswires poll of six analysts was for net profit of S$380.9 million.
