| Manila FAME brings together manilanow, CEBUNEXT and Bijoux Cebu, four of the country's major sourcing events, to mark the Philippines as Asia's design destination for lifestyle products in furniture & furnishings, holiday & gifts, and fashion.
About Manila FAME
Manila FAME was founded in 1983 by by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) and is one of the longest running trade shows in the Asia-Pacific.

Since its founding, the show has been featuring the latest creation and design trends in furniture and furnishings, holiday and gifts and fashion. Through the years, Manila FAME has been nurturing Philippine creative manufacturers and producers and continues to promote them in the global market.
It is the only event in the Philippines approved by the Union des Foires Internationales (UFI), a Paris-based association of trade fair organizers.
In October 2011, Manila FAME and three other major sourcing events in the Philippines -- manila now, CEBUNEXT andBijoux Cebu -- merged into a single event in order to bring even more products to more buyers, serve more markets and showcase Philippine design and artistry. The show highlighted products set in a retail concept and developed under three global trends: Naturalist, Mood Indigo and Graffiti. It also featured skilled artisans demonstrating their craft in creating products with the use of indigenous materials such as capiz, buri and rattan. Read more at THECITEMBLOG.

| The 2012 Annual General Meeting of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore will be held on Wednesday, 28th March 2012
This notice serves as an invitation to ICCS Members to propose themselves to form the 2012 Board of Directors, which will take office from the date of the Annual General Meeting.
A copy of the ICCS Constitution is available on our website: www.italchamber.org.sg for your perusal.
We would like to draw your attention to the election's procedure, namely :
Section 2, art. 6.2
Individual Members, as well as Corporate Members, have the right to vote at the AGM, EGM and whenever a vote is required or solicited by the ICCS
Section 4, art. 9.4
- Voting rights at the AGM can only be exercised by Members in good standing with their membership fees payment to the Chamber
1. The due date for membership fees payment is 31st March of each year, or the AGM date.
2012 AGM being on the 28th March, the due date for payment of Membership is the Wednesday, 28th March, 12 noon.
Section 5, art. 10.2
1. The Board of Directors shall comprise 10 Directors including the President, eight of which shall be elected from a List and two elected individually ( 'Independent Directors' )
2. Any Member is entitled to submit a List of eight candidates ( Proposed List of Board of Directors ). Each List has to contain one Individual Member
Any Member who is not an Individual Member and not part of any List of Proposed Directors can be an Independent Candidate and submit his/her candidacy for one of the Independent Directors seats.
Section 5, art. 10.3
1. All Proposed Lists and Independent Candidates proposals shall be submitted in writing to the Secretary general not less than 15 days before the AGM
2012 deadline for the submission of candidacies, therefore is the Tuesday, 13th March 2012.
The completed form should be returned to the Secretary General by email, post or facsimile by Tuesday, 13th of March 2012.
